Founded in January 2021, our initial focus was on trading green energy certificates, rapidly expanding into renewable energy M&A projects with IBP. By mid-2022, our presence in Vietnam’s iREC market was significant, complemented by an expansion into ESG consulting. In 2023, the scope of iREC trading extended to other Southeast Asian countries. Rebranded as GreenUP in 2024, the company diversified its offerings to include comprehensive ESG solutions, supporting businesses towards achieving their Net Zero Carbon goals.
January 2021:
Company Establishment
ProfitUP was founded in January 2021 with a focus on trading green energy certificates, specifically iREC. The company initiated the registration of iREC for investment funds and actively engaged in mobilizing green finance for businesses.
January 2022:
Collaboration with IBP and M&A Projects
ProfitUP partnered with IBP to drive the development of M&A projects in solar, wind, and hydropower energy. This marked a strategic move into the broader renewable energy sector..
June 2022:
Successful iREC Transactions in Vietnam
Successfully registered and conducted a large volume of iREC transactions in Vietnam. Representing the Netzero Carbon Thailand investment fund, ProfitUP collaborated with the top 10 renewable energy corporations in Vietnam, registering the purchase of over 10 million iREC certificates. This positioned ProfitUP as a pioneering and major player in iREC transactions in Vietnam.
December 2022:
Expansion into ESG Consulting
Expanded operations to include ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) consulting services. ProfitUP began advising and developing ESG roadmaps for businesses, offering training for greenhouse gas audits to both Vietnamese and international enterprises.
June 2023:
International Expansion of iREC Trading
Successfully expanded iREC trading to Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. ProfitUP supplied iREC and Carbon Credits to the international wholesale market.
January 2024:
Introduction of Branding GreenUP
Introduced the new branding, GreenUP, with the slogan “Be Net Zero With You.” ProfitUP diversified its services, providing end-to-end solutions ranging from ESG consulting to carbon offsetting and green finance for businesses. The company aimed to become a comprehensive international organization offering complete ESG solutions, providing businesses with long-term strategies to achieve Net Zero Carbon goals.
